Our Story
Beauty, Crafted with Intention
Magayon is the Bicol word for beautiful.
Inspired by my Filipino heritage and the beauty of Albay, home of the majestic Mayon Volcano, Magayon Naturals began with a desire to create something beautiful with my hands, using ingredients chosen with purpose and a process I could stand behind.
What began with soap slowly became something more: a way to honor where I came from, create with intention, and use what God placed in my hands to serve others.
Rooted in Heritage. Crafted by Hand.
At the heart of Magayon Naturals are two ingredients that tell our story: garden-grown kalamansi and hand-rendered grass-fed tallow.
Kalamansi connects Magayon to my Filipino roots. Grown and harvested from my own garden, it carries a little piece of home into the soaps I make.
Our tallow represents the craftsmanship behind them. I render it myself, slowly refining it from raw suet into the clean, creamy foundation of our bars.
One represents where we come from.
The other represents how we choose to create.
Together, they have become the heart of Magayon Naturals.
Every Bar Begins Long Before the Pour
A Magayon bar begins long before soap batter reaches the mold.
It begins with harvesting kalamansi, rendering tallow, infusing botanicals and thoughtfully preparing the ingredients that will eventually become each bar.
From mixing and pouring to cutting and curing, everything is handcrafted in small batches.
Some steps take hours. Others take weeks.
We take the time because we believe how something is made matters.
More Than Soap
Magayon Naturals is a business, but I believe its purpose can reach far beyond the products we make.
My faith is at the heart of that purpose.
I believe the gifts and opportunities God places in our hands can become ways to serve others. My hope is that as Magayon grows, it can be used to encourage women, serve families, give generously and create meaningful opportunities to bless others.
Soap may be what we make.
But people are why I want Magayon to matter.
A Letter From Our Founder
I never set out simply to build another soap company.
I wanted to create something that reflected the things I value: faith, heritage, craftsmanship and service.
My prayer is that Magayon Naturals will always remain faithful to the reason it began. That we never become so focused on making more that we forget to make with care, and that every season of growth gives us greater opportunities to serve others.
